In exchange for Boston, via the long route.
I am not really sure how I will ever find another person as craftalicious to hang with. Sad sad Texaskillet.
And so... I Haiku:
Twas a girl named Quornflour
Extensively crafty extraordinarily funny and especially loyal
She will be sorely missed
Well I have to say that I don't mind traffic due to road construction nearly as much when the people are happy and clean and good looking... and by people I mean the sign holders. Most of the time they are these snarly looking women or really old dudes. For some reason it made me very happy this morning to see an attractive chick smiling at traffic and such. And yes I feel the same way when it's an attractive guy. :) weird? probably not.
And all at once it goes... back out the window... the very things you have been working on holding close... fly out and away. Possibly to return one day? Perhaps not, who's to know. You might ask what I am referring to.. I will tell you:
Logic
Reason
Preservation
Restraint
Those things... oh well.. I am afterall an American and a Texan at that. :)
I hope everyone out there is feeling a little more put together today.

How come people always want what I have or what I did have? I seriously haven't ever looked at someone and said ohhhh they have this and it's probably really important to them... and I like it so I should have it now.
I have borrowed ideas because I liked them so much, but damn people, at least when I did so I had the courtesy to change it up a little.
Stay off my heart and stay off my vibe. Thank you!
People keep buying me coffee at the drive through and here's why:
So our upcoming pilgrimage to Texas is all set and ready. I can't wait to spend some quality unobstructed non work interupted time with my family and the Hill Country. Granted I'll have to drive over to Orange to see the Grandparents and maybe stop on my way back in the Woodlands to see the Aunt and Uncle and cousins but other than that.. I'm thinking.. Barton Creek, Schlitterbuam, Sea World, Town Lake, Bats and lots of yummy mexican food. :) The only bummer is that we are flying SWA and that means we can't bring the CHAV!! oh nooooo... Oh well... it'll be a dog free 9 days. I suppose I could look at that as another means to relaxation, but I'll miss my buddy.

So we hooked up from various locations to cruz to Vantage to enjoy some Blusteries on this fine Sunday.
We were after these:
Hoping to see someone using one of these:
Mighty fine idea. There's also a Wild Horses "monument" and a Genko Petrified Forest so what the heck, drive on! 2 hours dreaming of the finest in the land....
So we get there after much toleration of each persons exceptional (hehe) taste in music only to find that Blusteries is CLOSED!!!
That really is all I have to say on the subject at this moment. Thanks Q and thanks to the rest of us for Small Fries (you that were awesome enough to be there, know what I mean).
I am such a serious slacker when it comes to blogging. So I've been doing this Biggest Loser challenge across America thing and having to blog about that (it's in the contest rules). Soooo no time for crafty blogging I suppose. Anyway, I haven't been doing much crafting what with breaking up with my fiancee or at least so it would seem, moving to a different pad and adopting a new dog (second dog, fourth child essentially). So here are a few pictures of Stu the new mutt. He's awesome and is really getting my a$$ in shape. My guilt serves as a catalyst to running the dog. The guilt is over the fact that he is big, we live in a tri-level townhome and exercise is a necessity for him... and for me. So off we go, at least three times a week around 6:50am. woot! One the other four days a week we either go on an extended walk or hit the dog park where a lot of trotting back and forth and throwing misc. balls and sticks happens. It's cool. The other day we went to Tiger mountain to hike the lowland trails and THEN went to the dog park.. that was like double duty.
On to the pictures though because I know that's what y'all really want to see:
Oh yes, that's right.
We went to the UCU in Seattle, WA at Seattle Centers Exhibition Hall.
These pictures are of the line to get in:
Here is a picture of Quornflour making her first purchase:
Random crafty aisle goodness:
